1:1 Architects is situated in a historic 1887 building in one of Melbourne’s iconic laneways. A working studio first and foremost, the atmosphere is both focused and informal, a productive place fostering innovative design work.
PEOPLE
David Nock founded 1:1 Architects in 2004 to deliver architectural excellence with a human scale. Since then we’ve grown to a staff of 18 on the strength of awards and repeat business.
There’s a wealth of talent at 1:1 Architects, across a range of disciplines. Project managers, architects, interior designers and environmentally-accredited specialists work together in teams that combine skills specifically tailored to each brief. Our design teams have acquired enviable professional experience designing complex and iconic buildings. We absorb ideas from related disciplines and new technologies to offer outstanding contemporary designs.
